Statement:

My current body of work consists of portraits, figure studies, landscapes and still lifes. Utilising a distinctive approach to these artistic traditions, works visually represent scientific and conceptual ideas relating to Wave-Particle Duality theory.

Through a process of drawing on conventions of figurative, abstract and pattern painting, the works attempt to dissect, deconstruct, and reconstruct the subject matter in the pursuit of incorporating representations of other sensory inputs into visual form. It relies on the motive of sinusoidal wave forms as tangible representations of light, sound and vibration.

They are intended to evoke discussions around our perception of reality, the true nature of the physical world, consciousness, and self-awareness. It visually represents and explores the communalities of all sensory input: vibration.
